CEP Board Announced

Thursday, September 21st, 2006

Christians Ending Poverty has formed a board of directors to continue steering CEP towards its mission goals. Nine members have been appointed representing diverse denominational backgrounds. The members met for the first time on Sept. 16 and will meet again on Saturday, Oct. 14th. You can view details of the CEP board by clicking on Who We Are.

Practicing the Faith - A Journey into the Gospel of Compassion and Justice
San Marcos Lutheran, 3419 Grand Ave. San Marcos,
; 26 weekly sessions (two 13 week semesters) exploring the call to "do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God." This class is for those who are open to probing questions, lively discussion, new learning and positive action. Our focus will relate to relationships with God, with creation and with others. Sessions will include Bible study, lectures, videos, reading assignments, community building, prayer, field trips, music and fun. Questions will be more important than answers, transformation more important than knowledge.
