New Community Church 165 Eucalyptus Avenue Vista (Downtown Vista at South Indiana)
Route: Downtown area and Vista Village 1.6 mile walk Superwalker 3.2 mile double walk and shortened routes also available The Vista Area CROP Walk is an interfaith project of Church World Service (CWS), a 60-year old national coalition of Protestant, Orthodox, and Anglican denominations. CROP Walks represent individuals, organizations, and congregations of various faiths joining together to walk and raise funds to fight hunger and poverty, as well as provide disaster relief at home and abroad. 25% of the funds raised by the CROP Walkers remains in the Vista area to support Operation HOPE, Vista’s temporary winter shelter for homeless families. The rest of the funds benefit the programs of CWS, providing tools of hope that empower people to meet their own needs at home and abroad. CROP Walk sponsors also have the option of designating one of several approved international hunger-fighting agencies other than Church World Service. Visit www.churchworldservice.org or www.cropwalk.org for more information.
